The Swiss company manufactures highly automated complex system solutions in sheet metal of unique quality in small and medium batch sizes. Ringele AG was founded in 1927 by Hans Ringele.

Lecture of Dr Peter Sewing for students at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management on the topic: "The Attractiveness of Investing in Family Businesses".

Obermark holds three regional Entrepreneurship Conferences. In Widenmoos, Switzerland; in Rostock, Germany and in Bregenz, Austria.

2020

Obermark facilitates free weekly Corona testing for all employees of the portfolio companies at the start of the Corona pandemic.

Obermark reports in detail every two weeks to all shareholders as well as managing directors of the portfolio companies on the impact of the Corona pandemic on the portfolio companies as well as developments in the markets.

Obermark is involved in the SME initiative COVID-19 together with the company Centogene, Lutz Göbel and Patrick Adenauer. More than 500 companies responded to the call for support from SMEs in the fight against the Corona virus. ROPEX, for example, develops solutions for the production of test material.

The Financial Times reports on how responsible and creatively Holzhauer Pumpen deals with the challenges of the Corona pandemic.

Obermark launches a new format: the virtual Thursday Talks allow a digital exchange between entrepreneurs even in times of the pandemic. The Thursday Talks are developing into a successful format that regularly brings together around 50 entrepreneurs from Germany and abroad at the present time.
In the first Thursday Talk, Holger Schmieding, Chief Economist at Berenberg, discusses the consequences of the pandemic for the economy.

1st International Obermark Entrepreneurs' Conference

30 Mai – 2 Juni, Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden, Bavarian Alps, Germany 

More than 100 international entrepreneurs gather with their families at the Kempinski Hotel in Berchtesgaden. Under the guiding theme "Generation Change - Do Family Businesses Have to Reinvent Themselves?", lectures, workshops and discussion panels will take place. The conference will be accompanied by a leisure programme and excursions in the region.

When diverse ratios and reductions and fast delivery in premium quality with an outstanding price-performance ratio are required, ATEK's gearbox solutions are used worldwide and in numerous industries. The company was founded in 1939 as Dreherei Willi Glapiak in Hamburg.

With efficient digital processes, a complete service from a single source and an international network, the companies in the group ensure that contractors receive outstanding payments from customers for services rendered. The company was founded in 1985 by Heinz Bittermann in Coburg.

The company is a leading global supplier of automated and customised film sealing applications for various industries. A particular expertise is the controlled impulse welding process. The company was founded in 1976 as an engineering office for measurement and control technology by Robert Peters.

Acquisition of the inotec group

The market-leading manufacturer of innovative barcode and RFID data carriers is a competent partner in the planning of logistics concepts and the implementation of individual track & trace solutions. Obermark acquires the company, which emerged from a print shop in 1989, from Mo Bader, the long-time managing director of inotec.

In its more than hundred years of history, the company develops into a successful niche supplier in the automotive supply industry. THUN.Automotive supplies all major German car manufacturers, often in quantities of several million components per year. The company was founded in 1908 by Gustav Thun.

Holzhauer's pump units can be found wherever large numbers of people gather or high economic values need to be protected: in airports and railway stations, factories and industrial plants, office buildings, football stadiums and hotels, oil and gas production sites. The company was founded in 1969 by Hans-Joachim Holzhauer.

The medium-sized company based in Hanover is Obermark's first investment. It develops, produces and distributes high-performance and robust disc brakes for industrial applications with extreme requirements. The company was founded in 1961 by Schuit and Felix Biewer, initially for the export of equipment for wood processing.
